Foil Blanket
Foil blankets, also known as space blankets, are an effective method of prevention against hypothermia. The use of a foil survival blanket or radiation blanket helps the body retain its own body heat by reflecting escaping heat back towards the body. Foil blankets are listed in the British Standard Regulations (BS-8599) as an essential item to have in any first aid kit.
