What is the Toucan Eco eSpray?

The Toucan Eco eSpray is a device, about the same size as a regular cleaning spray that turns two common household substances into a highly effective, cleaning solution. Something suitable for all surfaces in your workplace or home, and all the people, pets and plants too.

These substances? Plain water and table salt.

Yes, the water out of the tap that you drink, and the salt you sprinkle on your food. Nothing too harmful to the environment about those, you’ll agree. And you only need 3 grammes of salt per bottle. Incredibly economic again.

So how does it work?

The Toucan Eco eSpray device

The Toucan is a plug-in bottle – you fill it with water, add salt and switch it on. It takes just five minutes to create 350ml of safe cleaning solution.

In basic chemistry terms you start out with a bottle of hydrogen, oxygen and chloride. The tiny amount of current it needs recombines those elements into hypochlorous acid, which is an effective disinfectant, and sodium hypochlorite, a cleaning agent. Created out of naturally occurring compounds, what you have is a bottle that combines the best of all worlds.

The solution’s very mild pH means you can spray it on any surface and wipe off to leave it clean and germ free – including your pet’s paws, wherever they went on that last walk. It completely embodies the phrase ‘pet and child friendly’. In fact you could spray it on your food and it would be entirely safe to eat, if maybe a little salty. If allergies to chemicals is an issue for you, the Toucan eSpray solution is hypoallergenic, so won’t cause you any breathing or other problems.

Sounds too good to be true…

The Toucan Eco eSpray has been subject to stringent tests at EU accredited laboratories and university departments and the certification resulting (EN 14476, EN 16777, EN 1276 and EN 13697) proves the Toucan solution to be 99.99% effective in killing germs and keeping them away, whilst causing no harm.

After just seven days, the solution will break down into its original components – so you’ll have a bottle of slightly salty water. Plug it in again for 5 minutes, and you’ll have reactivated your amazingly economic cleaning solution!

What can you use the Toucan Eco eSpray for?

• You can use the Toucan to clean any surface in your home or office – kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms or bedrooms at home.
• Office spaces, reception areas, shared kitchens or rest rooms – the Toucan will clean and disinfect them all.
• Spray on fabrics to disinfect and deodorise them. Smells are generally caused by germs and bacteria. The Toucan solution kills them, eliminating the whiff.
• Clean glass or metal surfaces effectively
• Clean everyday objects – phones, utensils, decorations, children’s toys even
• Has your dog or cat been somewhere they shouldn’t and come back with muddy (or worse) paws? Spray them with the Toucan Eco eSpray. It will clean and disinfect those furry feet, and won’t harm a hair on their heads, or anywhere else.
• A quick spray of fresh fruit and vegetables can clear away pesticides and dirt. Best to rinse the fruit or veg before eating or cooking with it though.
• The electrochemically activated water is ideal for keeping cut flowers fresher for longer – give it a try!
